Hello everyone!
I bought Heritage turkey poults in Early May with the plan to process them for Thanksgiving. Since I'm a noob, I didn't realize you needed to book way ahead for Thanksgiving. I was able to find someone who can process them next week, I was disappointed that I'll have to freeze...
I may be interested in your pair. I'm thinking about a new Roo since mine is related to all my hens... I hatched mine from eggs from Tricia in CA from here on BYC and Fossil Rock Farm in NY. Where did you obtain your Barnevelders?
pm me... i'm in mass, metro northwest area. If you want older birds, already laying....I have some one year old hens plus started pullets about 12 weeks old. I also hatch out my own birds, which are Ameracauna and Olive eggers (ameracauna roo over welsummer and marans hens)
These are my first turkey poults. They hatched on May 6th, so they're about 9 weeks old. Any tips on telling who's who at this point? Thanks in advance.
i have a few... 3 NH reds and an easter egger, about 18 months old. I'm in Mass though, about 15 minutes from Nashua, NH.... if you ever come down this way.
Hey sorry...just seeing this. Yes, they were vaccinated against Mareks and Coccidosis. I'm selling them as a trio only. It was a bantam experiment for me, but they're just too small for my LF flock.
i had a dozen going into lockdown, 9 barnevelders, which were shipped eggs and 3 of my own olive eggers. I just ordered Black Copper Marans and BBS OE's for next week!
