Congrats! Yours looks like it's about the same color as my marans lays. They'll get bigger, that's for sure. My marans lays extra large to jumbo eggs every time.
My Marans lays the largest eggs in my flock. They're not super dark, but noticably darker than the others. I can't wait to see pictures of how dark yours turn out!
