What have been people's experiences with ordering hatching eggs from hatcheries? I'm specifically looking at My Pet Chicken or Meyers hatchery. I know there is risk in having eggs shipped but are there any hatcheries that has particularly high or low hatch rates consistently? Thanks!
What about no grain but grass and veggies planted for the chickens to eat, as well as table scraps and other fresh fruits and veggies? If they have all that variety in foods can they live with no grain food, or would their diet be deficient? Thanks!
for anyone who wants an update I culled her yesterday. I didn't intervene for the first few days so there was no chance of the tendon healing in place. I learned about this issue so thats one thing that came out of a sad end.

6 week old glw seems to have broken/dislocated her right leg. Joint is swollen and that leg is lighter than the other. I have her isolated. What can I do to help her? It doesn't seem like she's in obvious pain, just limps every so often. Thanks!
