Can Chickens eat almonds? I have a bunch that went stale and don't want to just compost them...

I ran some through a food processor to roughly chop them, but my girls had no issues. They were raw, unsalted, and out of date.

A slice of cantaloupe, cucumber, leftover chicken. The have almost totally eaten a huge planter filled with lettuce, kale, and collard greens that I put in their run. I'll have to replant later this week.

Well.... I didn't exactly give it to them.A lizard was trapped in the house so I caught it and let it outside,only to watch one of my barred rocks catch and kill it. Right now it's trying to figure out how to eat it.

They go nuts on a hot day. In SC today we went up to 80 degrees so cool watermelon hits the spot.

I'm not sure if i should be giggling while imagining the look on the chickens' face or mourning the loss of the lizard.

It's a cool morning so they got warm oatmeal with a splash of molasses. I have some leftover cooked broccoli when i take my next walk to the coop.
