    Yes it is my first time hatching, the two eggs that didn't hatched I broke open today, they both had babies but had died at different stages of development. I have them on a 28% protein feed which I think is as high as I can get without having to add extra supplements. They are doing really well...

    Yes I'm from australia, and also yes I got an Indian blue male to put with my pied girls. The babies are so cute!! My second hen is due on 16/1. She is only on 3 eggs, her second clutch as the possums broke her first clutch, so hopefully she will hatch them all.

    Wow thanks for all the responses and advice! The peacock was being a real bully but as I found one of his hens on the nest today I think it explains his over aggressive behavior! Hopefully tomorrow they will all be back to living in harmony!
