Ok, posted a few weeks back wondering about this “hen”. We are now 12 weeks old and the BYC Facebook page is still stumped. Y’all want to take a guess now at Roo or not? Lol

The night vision on these cameras is pretty good, too. I’m surprised. We also learned which chicken nobody likes 😂

You can set it to open automatically, and you can close it manually, or vise versa. I’m in the glass business, so my door is made out of a 1/4” corrugated metal panel and some H bar slider track for reception windows. Your local glass company should be able to set you up pretty cheap with something.

So, I bought some stuff today. Auto door opener and a couple coop cams.

Will do. My other EE looks similar, combs are the same. My Black australorps and my lavender orphington all have light combs. It looks to me like a roo, until I compare it to the others. Then I’m just not sure. Lol

Ugh. I hope not. Lol

EDIT: chicken is 8 weeks old, came from Rural King pullet bin.

Been wondering about this hen. You guys think she’s a roo? Both my EEs share similar combs and they aren’t getting big but they are more red.

It’s just a piece of 3” pvc, and 2 street elbows. That’s it.

This is my favorite hen by far. Also, all 6 on a temporary roost bar!

After 3 days they are going to roost without help!
