This is absolutely great! I wish I could have happened upon a thread like this during my epic coop build last fall in the race to beat winter to it! I'm sure your wife appreciates all of your hard work! Can I ask what all materials you used to make your auto feeder? I have been wanting to make one but always get confused about the apparatus on the inside that is supposed to control the feed rate.

Looking good! Are you able to set the door timers to just pull the door open in the a.m. only? Also, if you could share what materials you used to make your own pop door, I just might copycat your idea!

You can set it to open automatically, and you can close it manually, or vise versa. I’m in the glass business, so my door is made out of a 1/4” corrugated metal panel and some H bar slider track for reception windows. Your local glass company should be able to set you up pretty cheap with something.

The night vision on these cameras is pretty good, too. I’m surprised. We also learned which chicken nobody likes
