Been wondering about this hen. You guys think she’s a roo? Both my EEs share similar combs and they aren’t getting big but they are more red.

EDIT: chicken is 8 weeks old, came from Rural King pullet bin.

Keep an eye on the shiny orange/red shoulder patches. If they increase in size and pointed saddle feathers appear, it's a done deal.

Will do. My other EE looks similar, combs are the same. My Black australorps and my lavender orphington all have light combs. It looks to me like a roo, until I compare it to the others. Then I’m just not sure. Lol
