Hello! I know my mom boards horses at her house. She has 7 1/2 acres of land and has had people come and go with boarding their horses there. Most of the time they have old horses they don't want to sell or ride so they keep them there because it's cheaper than a big barn with a lot of people...

It looks a lot like my Welsummer when she was younger, especially the arrow on the head. My Speckled Sussex also had the arrow head but was a little redder with almost the same markings. Here's a pic of my Welsummer around the same age as your chick.

Does anyone have a hen that is crossed with a Black Australorp x Speckled Sussex? I'd love to know what they would look like as a hen because I have a chick that is one and I'm trying to decide if I want to sell it or not. (It's father is a BA, mother is a SS).
