I have 2 cute little barred rock banty girls, they stick up for themselves with all the standard chickens.

Hard to handle , which is probably good for them, but really nice to look at, lay the blue, green and olive eggs

I love mine but I wont let my hen hatch another batch due to a great loss of the chicks even up to a year of age, their combs go blue and they died

Pretty birds but flighty

I have 3 - 1 Blue, 1 Splash and 1 Gold Laced the most beautiful hens I have, I put 2 in the local Fall Fair and they were a hit.

I have 2 males and am trying to find them some girls, really cute to watch, have to make sure they get a high protein food.

I have had a few males, they were all a bit nasty when they were young but Spike calmed down as he grew up and then he was killed by the mink when my 12 banties were killed I would have them again.

I only have 1 left ( the girls were killed by a mink ) but Ivan my boy is a white crested blue, absolutely beautiful guy, and not aggressive to anyone.

I guess that is normal for most farm animals to be moody during breeding and nesting season, I have had 4 turkeys (standard bronze) and they are only pets, I only have 1 now and she is great but I have had to put her in her place a couple of times when she thinks she is the boss.

Mine are lots of fun, great too watch and they all stay close together, but are a nervous bunch but I guess I don't blame them as the previous poster said they have many predators.

I only have 2 girls and one is the friendliest hen I have and loves to be carried around.

I have 7 EE they are all gorgeous different colors and very nice to look at but try and catch them for anything, impossible but that is ok since I have lots of others that will tolerate my touches.
