Decision may have been made... The bottom bird (#2) jumped at and knocked over our 18 month old over the weekend! Not sure we can put up with that. Anyone have any advice/experience with birds that are aggressive toward kids???

Congrats on the 7! They look great! We were very successful! Hatched 14 out of 15! Just took the 15th egg out of the bator... It was fertile, made it till day 18-19... This is one of our best hatches ever % wise!!! We sexed them tonight. 8 boys, 6 girls! We used the wing feather...

We're up to 14!!!!! With one solo egg left in the bator.... Think we'll let it sit until tomorrow, then decide if its a dud or not. Whats the longest anyone has had an egg in the incubator before it hatched?

So far, we've got 7 little fuzzballs all fluffed out in the brooder! And another still drying out a bit. With 4 more piping as we type!!! The other 3 eggs still waiting a bit longer, but we're super happy with the results we've got so far! Anybody else have anything yet???

Nice!!! We're past our half way point! Candled all of our eggs again tonight, and every one showed development! Fingers crossed that they all make it to hatch day... Also shot some video of them moving around in there, but the quality was pretty poor. Difficult to see much from this...

Usually we start candling around day 5... You can usually start to see the development by then! I've seen pictures of embryos in the first few days on this site, but we usually wait till day 5 or so to candle. It's really cool to see the progression from the beginning! I think after like...
