My daughter got this chick out of a straight run bin. She cannot remember the breed and well I am clueless... I worry that it may be a boy as it walks around with it's tail standing straight up and my other chicks have theirs down. Anyway what are your thought?

This chick is 6 weeks old. Came out of the blue egg layer bin at the store.. Said pullet but I am thinking this is a roo? Am I correct on sex? Also any guess on breed? Was a white chick and now has brown showing up on chest.

I have 13 - 5 week old chicks. They are all feathered and living in a broader in my garage. We unplug heat lamp durning the day and plug it in at night... When we open the broader they are flying out... So I really would love to get them in the coop. My question is when can I stop the heat lamp...
