My drake had a problem with his bill that was sorted out with some antibiotics. He also had bad feet which were also healed with antibiotics. Are there any thorns or foreign bodies in the foot?
A bump on the abdomen can be a cyst. We had a baggy looking duck who had a cyst on her oxidant. The vet felt the area and confirmed it was a cyst. She also had a temperature and so she was put on antibiotics. That bump could also be fat too. Ducks store it between their legs. If you find that...
We were bought two new ducks to add to our flock of 4. Two ducks in our flock of 4 started fighting at the arrival of the new ducks. We put them all to bed in the same house and they fought all night. They sounded like tumbling potatoes. After 2 days the fighting stopped and they integrated. Now...
Please don't eat anything.
I have two drakes and five ducks. The drakes don't care about the eggs but depending on the drake they may bite. My black Swedish has never bitten me but my runner drake has. And they have both been around broody girls.

Wow you all have some beautiful ducks.
This is pretty Peep..our mystery duck! We don't know what breed she is as she is the same colouring as in the pic but now she is fully grown she is tiny - less than half the size of a runner. Any ideas what she may be would be appreciated! But we love her...
Hello everyone,
I just wondered if anyone had any ideas about what breed our six week old duck is (3 photos below)? We're not sure and are just curious, any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!
One of my runner ducklings was hunched up. It was really uncharacteristic of her. She just hobbled about and didn't seem to have the energy to preen. The head was sunk and the tail has droopy and she looked like it was uncomfortable to sit down. Later on that day she shook her head violently and...
Hi, just to let you know our duckling seems fine now, breathing normally and eating and drinking with the others....I think now she maybe had a blockage that she managed to clear herself.
I have some Vicks though now in my duckling medicine cabinet, thanks!
Hope your chickens and turkeys are...
