    I live in west greenwich ri and had an dog attack and the town dog officer came to my home and said if the dog comes in my yard again i can do whatever i need to do to protect my chickens or any livestock i have.     Great info, I just wanted to let you all know that I use lawn clipping in my run it gives the chickens something to do and after a week or so I just rake it all into my compost pile and replace with new grass clipping the next time I cut the grass.
