My avairys are each 10'x10' have 2 the roof is 5'walls 9'in the center netted with camo netting so far no cons they seem happier them my breeders that are in smaller raised cages
my conturnixs did the same thing all at once.all 16 quit laying with in 2 days of each other. don't worry they will start laying again mine took about 4 weeks it will seem a lot longer. LOL
all of mine coturnixs just went through moult they all quit laying for almost 4 weeks didn't think they would ever start laying again but all this week ive got an egg from each i guess patience really is a virtue
as i'm from texas i have a lot of pecans would these be ok for them to eat and if so can you over do it i would crack them in half and give them the halves
Thank you
Tim
In your opinion is 2 parts Texas sandy loom 1 part ashes from my wood stove good I put a small box in each of my breeder boxes today with this mix there outside but got quite dusty lol they did seem to love it though
yes but if you use the boiling method then you have to know your atmosperic pressure AKA sea level different pressures require different temps for water to boil. how ever if you use the ice bath method atmospheric pressure is not needed
check all thermometers get a glass of ice water use the thermometer to stir the water do this for 3-5 min if it is calabrated right it should read 32F if not simply use math to get actual temp
