we have, 2 GP's 1 irish wolfhound cross, 1 Black and tan coon hound, 1 Mini-Pini, all are great around the fowl i suggest get a pup and put the time in needed to train it, we raised these pups (all gone to good chicken homes now) they were born in the yard with chickens, their first sounds...

i suggest oyster shell in it's own container free choice, they will only eat what they need

meriruka the best i can tell you is watch the web site, they will post at least a month in advance (spring is coming there should be several) i am on the call list , they call to remind me a day ahead of time , they allso e-mail a reminder

meriruka as with most of these auctions the fowl sell hi and low for no obvious reason at times ..... dont think i saw a cage go higher than 10 bucks......hens were priced really good and the health was excellent! not a sickly bird in the house, roo's went a little higher than normal as there...

thank ya. in all my yrs these will be my first layers, have had about every "fancy show bird" on the planet i like these gals attitude and the roo while young has a good handle over his new harem, in bout a month or two i'm gonna hatch several of these crosses they will be known as "rednekkers"

picked these kids up @ auction yesterday, 1 dom roo and 5 red gals.....had 5 eggs in the nest box by noon good gurlzzzz

dont know if anyone from here made it out other than myself but it was a good auction ....
