    Feather cysts

I regularly check the "scalps" (do chickens have scalps?) of my Polish B's and remove feather cysts. Does anyone have experience with these? Do they just let them go?

    Chickens at the back door?

I'm sitting inside right now and it's snowing in Seattle. Well, I hear a knockin' at the back door and there are the 3 B's. Have others spoiled there birds to the point that they knock at the door at the first sign of foul weather?

    Do crows pose a threat?

My 3 B's free range in the backyard which is fenced in. There are always crows around, any chance that they'll attack (full grown) chickens?

    how to compost da poop?

Hi fellow chickeneers. I'm hoping to compost the B's 'droppings'. The coop is cleaned every other day and I put the litter (straw) and poop into a 45 gallon plastic trash can. The can has drainage in the bottom and I keep the waste moist. It's not seeming to "cook", is there something I should...

    Do you ever?

As a treat, I occasionally give the 3 B's a little bit o' cooked chicken. Does anyone else do this? Is it right? Just curious as they love the taste of chicken (and cheese).
