A PAIR OF 2 MONTHS OLD WHERE KILLED LAST NIGHT NO MARKS ON THE BODY, THE WATER WAS CLEAR, THE FEED WAS ALL GONE. THEY ARE IN A CAGE (THAT WAS CLOSED) IN THE COOP THERE ARE 10 NEWBORNS SILKIES AND THERE'S AN EGGS NEST RIGHT UNDER THE CAGE AND ALL THE EGGS ARE STILL THERE.
WE SAW A GARDEN SNAKE...
We got an infestation of fleas in my coup, I was thinking of using sevin dust in the coop and in the 4 month old chicks but there are babies just hatching since yesterday:) and I'm afraid it could harm them. And what for the quails? Any ideas?
We are using a foam incubator and 3 out of 10 died before breaking free from the egg. Is it too cool, hot, dry or wet condition afecting them? How soon before they hatch are they suposed to be moved into the brooder? What temperature should they be kept in the brooder? Thanks for your help.
