I think it Should be easy to tell at 8 months of age ,,my tom is much bigger than the hens and his snood was very obvious at three months

Do you still have turkeys for the winter or did you process all of them?

We have cedar nesting boxes and no problems but have heard lots of hearsay also

Beware the cedar is toxic to chickens if used as bedding prob just boards for the coop would be fine,,just a thaught check it out??

Hello , we love our bourbons they have done very well this year we started with 7. Poults this spring and they are prob 15 or 18lbs now ,hope to keep 4 hens for eggs next spring but looking for a new tom or two To buy or trade ,not much luck so far but u never know.they are a much smarter bird...
