i handle all my kits from birth , have fostered them to and never had a problem. long as u move them at the right time and right way moms won't have a prob with it normally. if a new mom sometimes they will kill them to protect them.

if popped out of the actual socket i'd say a genetic defect most likely or birth defect. if u mean it is buldging out of the socket(swollen/misshappen) but still in it, is the lens over the eye a blue hugh or opaque looking when light shown on it? or when u look at the eye does the pupil look...
my aby female always drinks that way. my aby male never does. my dilute calico female does half the time. i love watching them drink that way it is so cute.
