    Regular sand is a great option for flooring in a coop. Chickens love to dust bathe and doing it in sand is a great way to reduce lice and mites. Calcium is a big no no until they are all laying. Thanks for the information

Just a brief look inside I'm lining the walls with what I believe is called carpenter paper, (basically a thick cardboard liner to prevent messes from paint etc.) I'm going to line the walls completely and if they ever get messy I'm just gunna replace them. It's only there to cover up the spray foam I used to seal the gaps, I don't want the chickens to get at it.
