Thank you for this! I don't plan on breeding. My hens are primarily for eggs and compost makers. I definitely do not want any newbies to get it, so unless I find vaccinated chicks, I won't be introducing more to the flock.

Just an update. I took her to our disease diagnostic lab a few weeks ago and the report concluded mereks. I didnt have the heart to put her down on my own because she was like a pet, so the lab idea worked perfectly. It was about 50 bucks compared to over 100 at another place.
