Lockdown day! 11 out of 24 made it to lockdown! Fingers crossed all 11 hatch!

Oooo! I would love some fun and funky eggs or intense egg color eggs!

That is one breed I don't have but they are on my want list. This batch has crazy possibilities as to what they are so it will be fun to figure them out!

I had 5/6 make it! Last one wasn't quite "right" I don't think. It was malpositioned and had very short stubby toes, it just slowly quit breathing. I still feel like I did very well for my second time:) congrats to everyone!

Today is only day 20.

I have 2 eggs that internally pipped yesterday about 6pm(they are chirping to each other like crazy)No external pips yet. At what point do I start to worry?

6 eggs went into lockdown yesterday! All 6 have been moving and I hear someone peeping. Eeeeek! So excited. Thanksgiving babies. Hooray!

I would love eggs from the fun and funky collection and also the Carolina blue sex links are gorgeous. My all time favorites from MPC are my Barred Rock hens. They are the friendliest ladies in my whole flock. My kids would be so excited for "intense" egg color eggs also.

Set 10 today and will add a few tomorrow. Hurry up thanksgiving!

This was my first time. I used dish soap and then I sprayed it with a homemade essential oils cleaner. hopefully that will work.

13/14 on my first hatch! I'm so excited and proud of myself!

13/14 hatched! Last one was malpositioned and stuck. The yolk was fully absorbed and I waited to long to help, poor guy. I'm so proud though for my first time that I did so well. I must have a strong healthy flock:) On to the next set for Thanksgiving hatching. Should make the day exciting...

They were all from my flock. They are so cute! Four of them have muffs and they are so adorable. Now to figure out which EE hen they can from the blue eggs or the dark frown eggs?!

I am beyond excited and so proud of myself! I had 13/14 eggs hatch over the last 2 days. I used a borrowed LG 9200 and was so worried because a lot of people call them a death trap. I was hoping to get 50% hatch rate with it and I had almost 100%! The last one was malpositioned and didn't make...
