    Barn Cats

Thanks everyone. My birds roam the pasture most of the day, get locked up at night in their coop. I don't let many chicks hatch I collect the eggs daily. If I do have chicks they stay with mama. I'm thinkin two males and probably will have them neutered. My thought was get them young and if they...

Thanks!! The smaller one has some small white feather specks on top of her head. Got them from tractor supply at Easter for my little girl so there's no telling what they truly are! They said mallards, I knew they weren't when I bought them lol. That makes sense though about the bigger one maybe...

The two different colored eggs were throwing me off. I didn't know that she could lay different colored eggs. I'm pretty sure it's a drake but no curl feathers yet. Guess they may come this fall? She laid two today a darker colored one and a whitish one. Here's a pic. Probably can't see their...

    Cayuga Ducks

I bought two Cayugas from tractor supply at Easter. Not sure if it's a drake and hen or two hens. They've started randomly laying eggs. Some grayish/white others dark gray/blackish. Could they be from the same hen or do you think they may both be hens?? I'm an avid waterfowl hunter but domestic...

    Young rooster vs older rooster

He seems to be gettin around better. Still have them separated due to the fact the older guy jumps on him immediately. They are becoming more social the last couple days. So he should be back with the flock in a day or two

    Young rooster vs older rooster

To me it looks like he just bends it to not put weight on it. When I feel his leg it all moves normal and feels solid, he doesn't try to get away or anything when I move his leg around. Thoughts?
