    Roos or hens

    One SLW and one speckled sussex they are suppose to be hens but i wonder, both are 7 weeks old. The SLW is stella and my gitlfriends fav so really hoping for a,hen. The SS is daisy. They dont carry themselves like roos but i will leave that to the experts.

    New coop build for my new flock

    Finally got a start on my new and first coop, it will be 4x6 with a 14x6 run attached. Was not sure about the chicken door size so I made 12x14". More pics to follow as we make progress. The coop itself is raised 2' off the ground. Thanks for looking Tom.

    newbie Question

    Ok not sure where to ask this......so here it is I am getting 5 chicks and was wondering if it would be ok to get 5 different breeds or 2 of one kind 2 of another and 1 odd ball. I was looking at 1 BSL, 1 Australorp, 1 Barred Rock, 1 Speckled Sussex, and I guess the welsummer is an option also...
