Sadly yesterday he passed away... I felt like he was getting better and one moment he was fine and the next he couldn't even keep his head up. I just sat with him in a blanket for 30 minutes until he passed. He died peacefully and was not stressed or afraid. Thank you guys so much for you help...

ok good. Im continuing the treatment for 60 days! lol guess I'm not going on any trips soon! Im just glad he seems to be doing a little better with the breathing lately.

Thats so sad! My neighbors recently let go there bunny and it was outside our yard for 2 days. I decided to catch it and now we have 5 bunnies! Im taking it to the vet tomorrow to get it examined before putting it in our bunny hutch just in case

Went to the vet AGAIN and now he is on the fungal medication as well. He now has nebulizer 4 times a day, fungal medication 2 times a day, bacterial medication 2 times a day, electrolyte and probiotic water and supplements i mixed in his food. Im just wondering If the vet put him on too many...

After reading that article im wondering if Daffy has the same issues. Espesially after reading the part about the duck having walking issues. I may just ask the vet if we could give daffy the medication without doing the test because I am afraid to put him under in the condition he is in

So the test for parasites came back negative but we are still giving him the nebulizer and his medication that kills any bacterial infection. He still breaths funny but seems to be doing a little better.

The vet believes it could be bacteria,virus, fungus, or parasite. We put him on antibiotics for bacteria and we bought an nebulizer for him that the vet recommended. We also got his stool samples for parasites. If it is a virus there is nothing we can do and if its fungus there is a procedure...

Thats horrible! Once while I was hiking far from any farms or any people, I saw a poor chicken that looked lost and I tried to catch her for about 3 hours but she was just way to fast, I came back every day for the rest of the week but she never returned I later heard from another hiker 3 months...

I tried giving him a little food thought the day but for some reason he is now breathing funny constantly. I think I'm going to take him to the vet after school today just to be safe

I will try to give him food throughout the day. Usually he gets let out to eat 3 times a day for about 30 min each. Maybe if he always has access he wont eat as fast and wont have trouble breathing

He also seems to stick out his tounge a little while gasping

My drake who has has nerve damage for 6 months has recently been opening his mouth and bobbing his neck up to 2 hours after eating and drinking. Sometimes he even makes a gargling noise. He also shakes his head a lot. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
