Now most will probably say, "whelp looks like its not a hen." But she lays eggs... and is an obvious cochin bantam hen. Any ideas how she crowed? I watched her do it...
I need help :/ when I went out this morning my roos comb (usually red) had turned yellow. it was not like this the day. At night it has been getting around -5 degrees. But he is in a coup. Could it be frostbite? The pics I looked up where black not yellow..

I went out to water/feed my chickens this morning and my leghorns top part of his comb (usually red) had turned yellow! He was not like this before and the pics of frostbite I have seen had been black, not yellow... It has gotten into like -5 degrees here so I figure it must have something to do...
My 4H leader JUST did this surgery on one of her chickens too! She described it as a hard yellow mass. Wrap the foot with gaze and tape and keep her contained for a while. Its defiantly Bumble foot u got.
I am gonna give my opinion which wont be 100% percent right but I think u have one male and one female. The black one is a female and the male is a cucu variety. I think they are bantams. They look to be almost to above a year.
