The temp is hard to control, takes several days to get it right, windows are small, and I've had a higher chance of shrink wrapping in this incubator. My hatch rates haven't been all that great. Not easy to add water to.
I want a better one. It's not terrible but not great either..
I bought it recently myself and used it for the first time. It has worked really well so far. I hatched 12/16, and still have about 6 hours left... The only thing I noticed is that it doesn't hold humidity as well. The last 2 days I wrapped the bottom with sarah wrap and it's held the humidity...
Well I had only 2 survive. I think when I got the bigger one out that was going after new baby it shrink wrapped the others. then last Friday a hawk got one of the 2. super sad. But the one is growing.
One is totally out. The others are still working on it. 6 is the one that's out. And 3 and 9 are pipped. One more is but I can't tell which number it is.
Ok I have turned them down. I am trying to get the humidity down. I've got it to 40% so far. I couldn't wait to look till dark. Lol. I might try one more time before I go to bed on the bigger eggs
Egg 1-3 I saw the babies move!!! Eeek! Egg 4 looks like it stopped? I didn't see movement in it. Then 5-9 I can't tell cause they are so dark. Her eggs were always pretty hard.
