    Pregnant Barn cat.

It's what we're doing, moving her into the back room while she has her babies around and until she gets spayed. I wouldn't be keeping these kittens if the vet didn't tell me there was a risk in her dying from effects. I've raised and rehomed kittens a few times. I had ONE kitten come back for a...

That is why I have a contract that says if they cannot care for the kitten for any reason, at any time, to come bring them back. I'm also vet referencing. What does this even mean? You'll have your organization find them? As I said, they all have homes already. With fantastic people. The one...

I made a mistake, apparently the windows do open and there will be hardware cloth over the windows.

    Just a little more...

I get what you're saying. We're attaching a screen to the door and there will be another door cut on the side for their run. Where we're placing it, it'll have wind but not too much to bother my hens.

I would but I live in Michigan, and raccoon country.

    Just a little more...

The wood is painted before we put the aluminum on just to seal it. How should I make the windows look a little bit better? The aluminum will go all the way up to the roof, so that gap will be no more. Excuse my mess. Windows are plexiglass, while they are a little crooked, they're secure...

    Pregnant Barn cat, photos!

She's very stunning imo. What barn cat baby bump photos would look like. Her bell collar is broke, but she still wears it. Update on yesterday's post: I have 8 homes waiting for kittens, and a vet appt set up for her.

Still got a lot to do!

Thanks! I like the looks of that. The holes will be covered by the steel siding.

    Pregnant Barn cat.

I am talking to a shelter worker now on how much it'll cost with multiple cats. I'll just have to charge an extra little fee for them.

Still got a lot to do!

We had planned on bigger. Amazingly, my 80 yr old grandpapa has been the one helping the most.

    Pregnant Barn cat.

I feed both my barn cats, fixed the other girl. They get vet visits and wormed too. I raised both of them, one from a tiny tiny kitten who was thrown in a ditch. However many kittens she has, that will definitely not happen. They're my responsibility.

    Pregnant Barn cat.

They have a "barncat" program. She isn't necessarily feral, just a barn baby. Still, each kitten would be about $45.

    Pregnant Barn cat.

Depending on how many she has, it may be up to $400 to get them all fixed. While I understand what you mean, unless I offer them with an "adoption" price, that is quite alot. I have 2 people wanting kittens so far.

    Pregnant Barn cat.

Last mama cat I had I fed her kitten food while she was nursing. I keep the KMR on hand incase she has mastitis or can't feed them.

    Pregnant Barn cat.

I was planning on getting her fixed, but before I could I got pretty sick (bronchitis, almost pneumonia) and wasn't able to work or do anything. So now I have kittens on the way. I'm hoping to find them homes and she will be fixed. Does anyone have advice for me as she gets closer to her due...
