I bought a thermometer with built in hygrometer to test it. The one i bought read that it was high so i went out and bought another one to test and see if maybe that one was wrong but it still reads the same as the original one. I am on day two.
So i took all the water out of the incubator and the humidity is 71% still. The humidity outside is 98% and inside it is 55% how do i get the humidity to go down?
Im new to guinea hens and i have 7 eggs i got from my uncles guineas. He has pearl grey guineas. Can they have diferent color keets or will they all be pearl grey?
Thank you all for your suggestions. I went out and bought a hydrometer and thermometor. The gauges are wrong. Not only the humidity but also the temp. Im slowly bringing the temp up throught the day as to not cook them. But the humidity is 77% i removed all the sponges and took out some water...
Thanks. Ive used this incubator before. Had a 6 out of 10 eggs hatch. I do belive it is the gauge as there is condensation on top of the lid and walls. The gauge flashes at 22,23,24. Right now it says 24 but can drop to 22 in seconds. I have about 5 sponges in the bottom that i cut up and stuck...
Help: i have a cheap chinese brand incubator with the yellow top and slanted grey display. I cant seem to get the humidity up. It reads 23. I have filled all the channels with water and even put sponges in the water. No matter what i do i cant seem to get the humidity to go up. Please help.
