A friend of mine found this beauty among their (late) grandmother's belonging. She was clearly a beloved bird-- what was she? Hard to tell from the picture, but she is bantam sized.

She is extremely flighty so it is hard to get a picture of her-- but here she is roosting with my polish. You can see she is about the same size. I'll try and get some better solo pictures.

Ok, so I went to a local fair today, and to my delight spotted some Old English Game Bantams! And. They are possibly smaller than Ms. Chippy Nugget. Who is just 12 weeks old, but has caught up with my polish chicks almost. WHAT IS CHIPPY NUGGET?

So I think Sugar IS actually a bantam, but as for Saffron, who knows! She has pretty black legs, and her yellow is VERY yellow

Final count of my polish babies: 11 boys and 9 girls! Going to rehome all but I think 3 of the boys, and keeping 6 girls.
