I received 8 partridge wyandotte chicks from Brinkhaven Acres May 10th, so chicks are in the 6-7 week range. I’ve been going back and forth with which is which, it’s driving me crazy! Doesn’t help their feathers are coming in all sorts of random. What do you think?

Only curious...at least for now ;) If someone was to create an autosexing bantam breed, what would be ways to achieve this? What colors or breeds could be used to make this happen? Not alot of information I could get through google, so I’m asking here 😅

picked up these straight run chicks on fri from tractor supply, is wing sexing possible with them? I took pictures the next morning, dunno if that was too late.

I thought I incubated eggs from only my Bielefelder hens, but I’m starting to think I have only 1 pure biele chick. The other brown egg layers in my flock are production reds and a Rhode Island Red. My only rooster is pure Biele. Opinions?

I have one chick that hatched ~2 days earlier than the next 2. She’s about twice the size of the others(all supposed to be about the same size birds as adults) and she pecks the sh!t out of me already. I tried keeping one of the 2 with her, ready to snatch the newer one if need be and it lasted...

I would love to get some Malines in our flock! Unfortunately I’m having a hard time finding a breeder, would prefer hatching eggs due to nothing being remotely local (I want to avoid green fire farms lines). Any leads or advice would be appreciated!!
