My 2 year old rhode island red hen has been sick for about a week at this point. She can hardly walk and her tail is constantly drooped down. She is still eating and drinking, she just acts like she can hardly move. I took her to my local vet and they said they don't treat chickens. Please help...

My 2 year old hens have all of the sudden stopped laying eggs, they have never done this before. I live in Mississippi and the temperatures have been around 100° lately...could that be a factor in them laying eggs? I do keep them watered and they have plenty of shade.

We were mowing our yard and found some baby turkeys! Don't worry, after we checked this little guy out we gave him back to his mom!

Today my Rhode Island Red chicks are 4 weeks old! They are growing super fast and making more of a mess these days lol They have learned to scratch and I am having to sweep around their pen a couple times a day from all the wood chips. They are all perching and they love Kale!

What bedding is best for chicks? I have wood shavings in there now, but they are making a mess.

So I'm sitting here chilling getting my hair done at the salon and I get a notification from my camera and I see this...they're getting closer to being put outside in the coop!

finally have the coop together! Also have the saddle on one of my hens (Dorothy), her poor back has no feathers on it, got the saddle to protect her and hopefully her feathers will start growing back soon!!
