I have one blue and four black young Maran roosters. They started crowing about 2 weeks ago. All are very friendly, beautiful birds. Anyone interested in west central WI or Minnesota area, please send me a message. Thanks for reading.
Young Copper Maran rooster, 9 or 10 weeks old. I've had him and his siblings in a temporary fenced area. The gnats/mosquitoes/flies are bad this year, and the nice shady spot they are in has lots of them. I'm wondering if maybe someone bit this little guy? The area around his eye is swelled...
Three nice Russian Orloff roosters, healthy, happy, not aggressive. They are right about a year old. Willing to drive some distance to meet you or deliver them.
4 young roosters just old enough to start really fighting. I hatched them last fall. All are very people friendly, quiet, nice birds, but I have 5 and 3 other breed roosters, so 4 Russians need to go. Will deliver reasonable distances.
These little guys are young, very sweet, and really pretty. I hatched them from eggs and just have too many roosters. If anyone is interested, please let me know.
Bocking 4 comfrey averages 26% protein, is couldn't be easier to grow in most areas, super easy to propagate, it dries well for winter feed, it makes excellent compost, it's an awesome chop and drop plant. Is anyone else here growing it?
Just a request, not an order :) I would like to help people with their birds and I know enough people in my area with chickens that I may be able to help, but it's harder to open and read every thread to find out where they are located. If people put the location in the title, at least the...

Here are my young chickens, 12 to 14 weeks, in my Woods Fresh Air Coop. 8 F this morning and they are right at the front open window, happy and clucking away. Also note, none of them were standing on one foot, they were all just walking around, so it appears they were standing that way.
I've seen a number of people talk about ventilation, drafts, etc. The common consensus seems to be that if you don't have drafts strong enough to blow the chickens feathers around, they are fine. I look at it a little differently. I have a Woods style coop, and the physics behind the build...
