    UPDATE….so I let them roam freely yesterday ,& I watched. The 2 barred rock chickens were picking on it and chasing it . Anyone know what this is ?

    Transferring to bigger coop

    Currently have my chicks in the small coop was wondering when should I transfer them to a bigger one ? Also any recommendations on a coop for 4 chickens ?     I have 4 ! They have been huddling! Are you saying a regular light bulb or an alternative heat bulb ? I may have a light bulb laying around for now !

    So I just bought some chicks from TSC & we live in Louisiana. The temperature is currently 83 outside tonight and that is where the chicks are(on my big carport) Do I need to leave the heat lamp on all night long or even at all ?

    How long until chicks cord scab falls off?

    First time getting chicks today from tractor supply & they too are experiencing this scab. Were you able to figure it out and how to treat if it’s abnormal ??
