    It varys from cayuga to cayuga and no It does not go away it progress's through the years. It can start as early as... I'd say 8 months.

    101 temp is for still air, 99.5 is for forced air bators and around 75% for humidity. Lock down on the 25th day.

    Solveig and E'aster enjoying the flooded yard :)... and all the rain... so much rain. Had to chill in the shed while they played.

    First egg of this year! I think E'aster pushed this one out. Solveig does green. Anyway I could hear her outside my window. I'm like "yup that's the sound of egg plop'in." I'm so eggcited, because they stopped last year when I moved them outside. Took you long enough to adjust!

    Could be. I've never had a male duckling before so I wouldn't know how they are at such a young age. Drakes are quieter than the hens so you might have a pair. But then again both my ducklings were the same age but one was larger and they both lay eggs... perhaps after 4 to 6 weeks you can...

    Did the person selling them say they are solid cayuga (pure blood not a mix). When my cayuga were little one was more of an olive brown while the other was black and Solveig had a green marked bill. Both are hens. They should be the same age if you got them together. Or could be a stray gene...

    Cayuga can jump, get some air and power glide up to 3 ish ft in height with various length. Mine do this sometimes but only when I'm to far away to run to or they 'try' to fly. Lol Its cute :) But I wouldn't consider clipping them as they don't do this a lot.

    That drake has problems. "His lack" of hens is not the problem and I wouldn't dare try to add any If hes gonna act like that. hormonal, yah sounds like it or your drakes just a... how can I put this with out using profanity... a big butt doughnut. He's clearly not a duck person. There's no sure...
