There was a thread about this, asking why in the world people get from hatcheries - It started off by showing the terrible quality of Ideal's Salmon Faverolles. So, yeah, I guess they're prone to having uuggllyy Faverolles.

Does she have a Single Comb? That may explain. . . And it is a good way of telling what color egg your EE might lay. Mine was a light brown, and I didn't make the connection of her having a very floppy single comb until weeks ago.

Noone was meaning to be offensive, infact I clearly stated that if I misread her questioning statement, please tell me. I do understand that this thread sadly is prone to having debates and/or discussions irrelevant to "pictures of stock from Ideal." I was just wondering what she...

Oh I'm actually very interested to see what the La Fleche will turn to look like, but as I've always said - I just hope that whoever tries preserving a rare breed like that from a hatchery makes sure they preserve the closest to APA standards.
Sorry but chickenlover is right. This is off-topic regardless, but not even I would have bought my current chickens if Murray McMurray showed pics of their real birds. The reason hatcheries like Ideal do so well is because they present show-quality bird photos, and most people who buy from...
