    Yes ty so much. So still depends on individual birds BUT looking more like light is a roo and dark a hen.

    So do females grow any of the horned comb? Like some other breeds get small combs and wattles? Or is it only the Roos? If only Roos then our lighter Spitz is definitely a roo. Still no “horns” on our darker spitz. I’ll need to look closer tomorrow, won’t be home till after dark tonight.

    I’m new to Spitz’s BUT at only 4 weeks of age there seems to be a huge difference in our 2’s comb/wattle. Only time will confirm their gender but I’m thinking in the next week or 2 you will start seeing more comb growth.
