    I am looking for an assortment of bantams. Does anyone know anyone in central VT that might have chicks? I’m near Stowe and willing to drive an hour or so in any direction. I really want a mix of breeds and I’m hoping I can find one place other than TSC to get a variety.

    I was talking about putting plastic up to block wind and snow drift in the run only...so they can continue to go outside in the winter (vs having to shovel snow out of the run). Bad idea?

    Hi, I'm new! I'm near Stowe and raising chickens for the first time. They are only 2.5 weeks old and SO cute! I wish I started posting on BYC sooner - I've already been straightened out on the breed of some of the chicks (though right now they mostly look very much the same).
