Here they are sleeping in the brooder

I now have some on hand just for that reason I don’t want to be scrambling trying to do something that may work so I now have nutri drench on hand and ready for next time

I gave it some raw egg yolk and water and a few hours later my wife called me and told me it was up moving around

Great news the weak pheasant chick is is now up and around and seems very healthy. They are in the brooder and seem very happy

What baffles me is the chick looks healthy except it seems like it’s neck isn’t strong enough to lift its own head

Wife is a little worried and I kind of am also the weak chick doesn’t seem very lively and it keeps rolling on its back it’s like it seems like it’s legs are to weak to carry it gonna give it till morning any suggestions to help it along if it’s not better by morning?

Welol I have two baby silver pheasants the third egg tried to pip the wrong end and therefore didn’t survive so two is the final count

Well since I’m going out of town tomorrow and won’t be back till Friday evening I went ahead and put my pheasant eggs into lockdown tomorrow is day 21 so the should hatch Saturday so

Well day 14 candle is complete all looks well. Just seven days till lockdown on my silver pheasant eggs

My wife doesn’t understand why I get so excited at this stage of incubation and I have no idea how to explain it to her but she does get excited when babies start cheeping in the incubator
