No probably not, but Dory is first in line for everything, she pushes everyone from the water dish, from the feed dish, the best spot to sleep, etc.. She's not the one who leads them around the yard though. Allie must be a big girl!

In my flock my hen Dory is the alpha, although Oliver generally leads the flock around. Dory makes sure no one eats treats until she is done! Okay thank you!! It certainly looks like a great system!

Nyasa is a boy. Yeah, the wings definitely hit the water hard to take off like that! I haven't seen any of them do a running start on water, we don't have a big enough pond.

Yeah, I think they do that to keep their balance when flying slowly. It's amazing how fast it is in real motion.

She talks almost constantly, except when her head is underwater. Yeah, but she doesn't like it as much as James.

Your ducks are only occasionally normal? That's weird to see her in a tree, she must think she is a wood duck! My mallards land on buildings all the time, but never trees. Cobra must have just taken a bath, my ducks do that after swimming.

She honks when she flies! Yep it is finally gone, replaced by pools of water to splash in! Thank you!
