    When I was young they grew tomatoes real close to our home. They were NOT staked; they grew all over the ground. You don't have to stake them, that's just for convenience. We all keep learning. What still makes me ill is how animals are mass slaughtered. I couldn't do that job.

    I have seen the same vines and flowers. I tried the fruit. It didn't kill me. The one I ate was kind of like over-ripe strawberry looking inside as I remember. It was a little sweet. The vine was covered with so much fruit, but I never went back because I liked my figs better :>)

    A friend in HS drew that caricature of me. She thought I was a wild and crazy guy. The apeman has a girl with red hair under his arm. She had red hair. I always loved that gift.
