Gave a mini Llama lesson to the Animal Science class at the local High School yesterday!

He didn't want to stop for a picture. He was ready to head home and kept walking toward me while I was trying to snap the pic. LOL.

I am trying to get Poteau ready for our Christmas Parade on the 12th. Here is a pic of us at the high school after about a 30 minute walk.

They got their extra yesterday, we are supposed to be very wet today. Chickens are getting an extra treat tray today, however. Hopefully it will keep them entertained in the coop.

Very true. I just lament the fact that I don't have many active llama folks near by so that we can bounce things off of each other. I am in the middle of the country but I feel so isolated.

I really wish I could go to a workshop. I am feeling over my head on trying to train mine. I want to look for some things like that to possibly go to this fall. Right now, they are better at avoiding what I am wanting them to do than I am showing them what to do.
