If you remove all the eggs, they will most likely find a better hidden place to lay. Mark the eggs that you leave and collect the freshly laid eggs daily.
The eggs are most likely viable.

The lower ladder area tends to not get crapped on. Guineas on the branches can and do get dumped on at times. They clean themselves off.
Looks like a normal cecal poop to me. Changes in diet can cause the color change. It really doesn't take much of a diet change to get a noticeable color change.
Right now some of the turkeys droppings are a really dark green. It is because they are eating green grass.
You will be able to measure the temperature at the bedding level. The bedding is solid material and will become heated by the radiant heat.
The only place that the temperature is important, no matter what the heat source is, is the bedding level.
You do not have to measure temperatures and...
By the time my keets are a week old, I have the heat source down to 85°F measured at the bedding level. At no time do I ever try to keep the whole brooder at that temperature. They need the ability to move to and from the heat source as they want and need to. I keep the feed and water in the...
You need to upload videos to a host site such as YouTube, copy the URL and paste it into the message box.
It is entirely possible that it is too hot underneath which is causing the keets to gather at the edge. I start my keets at 90°F measured at the bedding level. If you measure the air...
The soapy water doesn't do much of anything if you don't break through the dried crust. If you break through the dried crust, the soapy water will quickly soften the rest of it.
Chicken chicks are by far the best for keeping their feet clean. Turkey poults are not as good at it. Keets are the worst.
The method that works best for me when they get the little hard balls on their feet is to use a pair of small flush cutting dikes. I carefully clip the balls with the...
This invalidates the study as being done on ACV.
"To prepare vinegar, apple fruits were sliced and their seeds removed and then placed in a jar. Diluted industrial vinegar (1:4 water and vinegar) were added and the jar transferred to a warm and dark place for 3 weeks. Finally, the solid parts...
It most likely did not have anything to do with adding ACV. When I did my experiment, I went from one or two cases to 90% getting pasty butt with ACV.
ACV can work for people because of the placebo effect. The human mind is a very powerful tool that can make things work just because the mind...
Do not add ACV.. It is harmful at high temperatures. It does nothing to help pasty butt. I personally conducted my own experiment with it and it made things worse not better.
ACV can interfere with the absorption of calcium which is a problem that growing keets do not need.
Check the temperature under it, Make sure it is high enough above the bedding too, Just because the temperature on top of it is okay does not mean it isn't too hot under it. Under it is where it matters what the temperature is,
