oh dear I sure don't blame you for locking them up. :( I have 8 eggs not hatched out yet. I left it on though and the humidity is still 70%. or above.

Well so far I have 3 chicks out of the shell and making all kinds of racket. lol 2 RIR's and 1 BA. Yep I had a feeling some would be. lol kinda hard for me to tell the eggs a part. Got some videos of em hatching.

Thanx, got 7-8 pipping now and can hear them chirping. Our dog dearly loves baby chicks and I can hear them chirping and just saw his ears perk up when he heard it. lol

Good luck! I have 4 pipping now and can hear one chirping. The dog will go crazy if it starts chirping pretty bad. When I had chicks last spring he wanted to get IN the brooder box with them. lol rotten dog. Anyway one of them is fighting to get out and is really making headway.

oh man I sure hope they do fine and you have a good hatch! Went into lock down tonight myself. Candled and had one more I had to take out that had a blood ring. Now I have 36 eggs left I believe it was that or 35. I added my warm water in there and now I wait and don't open the thing. ummmm...

oh no I am so sorry. :( The one I put back in the bator was a bad one to. So I took it out. Mine will go into lock down on Sunday. This will be my very first chickens to ever hatch out.

how exciting. I sure hope it IS two in there and both make it!! Yeah I candled mine when I got home and had 1 with a blood ring, and 5 un-fertile ones out of 43. Now I have 37 and was unsure about 1 of them so it went back in the bator. Might need to recheck it so I can toss it if it's not...

I candled several of my brown eggs last night and all I could see was dark areas in there. Could not see any veins at all because of them being brown. My nephew let me borrow his better flash light so I hope when I get home I can do some more of them and see some veins. I sure hope this one will...

I just put mine in the bator on Wed. night. I have hatched out ducks years ago but never chickens. This IS my first and I am sooooo excited I can't stand it. I wont be able to sleep a wink the night or day they start hatching I'm sure. lol I have 43 eggs in the incubator. I'm just HOPING the...
