Final tally for March hatch: Set- 22, 11 non-fertile/non-starter. 11 locked down, 1 died pipping, 1 clear (:idunno) , 1 late quitter. 8 hatched. I didn't do a final candle before lockdown and just YOLO-ed it. Next time, I will make sure to do it to avoid any possible eggs exploding, I'm guessing...

4 of the 11 have hatched, 2 more are well on their way. The last I was able to see, there were only 2 that hadn't pipped yet. Now, the eggs are getting kicked around a little, so I won't be able to get a good look until the hatched chicks are out of there, lol. It has been an interesting hatch...

One nice big pip! The eggs went in to lockdown on Saturday morning. 11/22 eggs made it this far. I've got the next batch ready to go in already, lol.

I candled a couple of days ago and pulled all of the clears. 11/22 are still in the incubator. I was hoping for better numbers, but it is still an improvement over last month. Hopefully NEXT month will be even better.

The red circles are my CL's the blue circles are the green eggers I bred last year from a Barred Rock hen and CL roo.

My last slow-poke little green egger finally hatched this morning so I was able to set the next batch. 22 barnyard mix from my own birds, 5 of these are pure CL.
