I hatched mine in cut down egg cartons with holes cut in the bottom, it worked pretty well. I did have one egg that zipped up and down, instead of around the top. I used a wire coat hanger through the vent hole to get it out of the carton to the floor. I was also having problems with humidity...

I'm happy there is no offense I would truly love to hear your results!

My rational thinking is, if there was such a product that could help out....it would be flying off the shelves. But then again, everything starts from somewhere right? I would be interested to know your results

I don't want to offend anyone here....but that sounds like the spray that you see on eBay all the time, and they also try to advertise it on the swap pages on facebook. They claim to increase fertility and such ( is not possible, the egg is fertile or not) anyway...on my local FB page it is...

That's so cute! My bantam eggs are zipping and popping out like that, much faster than the LF I hatched last weekend

Congratulations everybody on all the babies! I had zero shipped eggs hatch but I have 19 out of 22 local fuzzy butts running around My shipped bantam orps I purchased from Bama1 are on day 20, pipping and zipping looks like I will have better luck with them than the eBay eggs

I must say, I have followed along with a few past hatch a longs and I was excited about getting my turn to be in one.. this has been a bit of a let down compared to past ones. I wish everyone great luck with your hatch, if you can't get answers on this thread about hatching questions, just...

My temp dropped! I have five out now, one keeps laying on the thermometer but it says 96. Not sure if I should try to raise it? Anyone have this happen? It's the digital incubator warehouse kind. Not sure if it is really dropping, or it's because the chick keeps laying on it

Howfunkyisurchicken, they are adorable! My first pip took 13 hours, I was about to give up hope and he just suddenly zipped. I have 3 fluffy butts running around the incubator, and can see 7 or 8 more pips! This is so exciting

Walnut, I thought I was bad! Thanks minnie, I have 4 pips...all are very small pips except the first one. The poor little thing has been trying to get out for eight hours! I can see him peck, and hear him chirp once in a while.

UGGG...I am very sleepy, the first pip over 6 hours ago is just now making a little progress. I have had so much trouble keeping the humidity up, I am afraid if I go to sleep for a while it will get too dry Am I the only crazy chicken person up right now?
