Here is Spitzy, my Silver Spangled Appenzeller Spitzhauben. All our chicks were named with a nature theme… except her. I started calling her “little Spitzy” (we hadn’t picked her name yet!), and it stuck! She is the silliest girl in the flock. She has a habit of flying with her huge white wings...

Here is my precious Meadow. Not a lap chicken type girl, but she loves to hang out with us. I just have to say “C’mon Meadow! Let’s run!” and she runs right alongside me, all around the yard; it’s her favorite thing to do. We joke that she is more puppy than chicken!
