Quack the duck was the survivor I didn't realize I hadn't updated. Show Off has survived and is recovering, I gave her a thread to show how her injuries are healing up. I did lose one more Frizzle Hen, but the babies she hatched made it. So as I get ready to set up the incubator in class, I was...

Cheeps was doing so well yesterday, I took him outside while I was raking leaves and he visited with his buddies a little. He was able to drink on his own last night and I thought that was an indication he was doing better. Unfortunately sometime during the night Cheepers joined his duck family...

No, I appreciate the offer though. I'm hoping I won't lose anymore, the rest don't show any signs of being injured and Tuesday will be two weeks that night. I think Fluffy had internal injuries that just took awhile to take her.

I can use all the prayers I can get right now. Hot wiring isn't an option right now, I can't afford it period. So far no more attempts, but now I go back to work and can't stay up late so I hope it stays peaceful.

She wouldn't get up or move so she's in the kennel with Cheepers. I think she got too cold, because she hasn't shown...

I took Cheeper Peeps outside for awhile this morning, he attempted to take a dirt bath but doesn't have the coordination or control he needed so I tossed a little dirt on him while he wiggled around. He enjoyed it was more than ready to come back in the house and sleep in his kennel.

Coyotes make sense here, since the predator could clear a 6ft fence and leave no fur or feathers in it and more than one would explain how many were killed and eaten. Thank you for your prayers, your thoughts, and for being here.

Thank you all, and Mathew thank you for your thoughts. I'm not going to replace or hatch right now, I will wait until Spring and probably do a hatch in my classroom then. I really appreciate all the good thoughts and offers and such, you are a wonderful bunch of people.

A just ran into a guy at the feed store who lives North East of me about 1/4 mile. I forgot he was back there! He said the night my coop was raided he had two coyotes, very large ones in his yard trying to get to his chickens and shot at them and scared them off. He said they took off through...
