I had a nice trio of breda fowl from greenfire farms, one blue female one black female and one black male but we just lost my male. I am so sad. I will have to locate a boy somehow - or start from scratch agin next year. maybe if I order eggs from somewhere now I will have time to hatch before...

they have stayed healthy so far- two blacks and a blue, I am hoping i have one pair in there somewhere. *fingers crossed* if not i will try the place you got yours from to try to get some different genes and hopefully i will eventually wind up with a good breeding flock.
Finally got my breda chicks from greenfire farms today! I ordered 3 blue and 3 black but they sent 7 chicks... i am pretty sure there is 1 blue and 6 black unless they look the same as chicks... but oh well. (there is one chick in the pics who is not a breda he is just in the brooder)
